Day 1: Welcome to Hanoi
Upon arrival to Hanoi, our representative will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in the Old Quarter. Spend your day any way you like–we recommend checking out Hoan Kiem Lake’s Ngọc Sơn Temple and “Turtle Tower”.

Day 2: A day tour to explore the history of Hanoi
Dive into the history of Ha Noi by visiting the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a monument and tribute to Ho Chi Minh, the “uncle” of modern Vietnam. The mausoleum is closed every October and November, as well as every Monday and Friday throughout the year.
Pass by Vietnam’s first university, the Temple of Literature, before stopping for lunch at Koto Training Restaurant, a social enterprise dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty faced by many youths in the city, empowering them by training them in the culinary arts and hospitality training.
Perusing the carefully curated collections of tribal art, clothing, jewelry, and full-size replica houses at The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. All displays are clearly labeled in English, French, and Vietnamese, with guides available at the main entrance for those who want to hear more in-depth information.

Day 3: Visit a floating fishing village in Halong Bay
Following breakfast, head 2.5 hours east to Halong Bay. Established as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1994 and newly nominated as one of the new 7 natural wonders of the world, Halong Bay’s otherworldly atmosphere and landscape of emerald green waters, sandy beaches, and thousands of towering limestone karst islands are sure to leave you speechless.
Check into your cabin as we embark on an overnight cruise to experience the bay in all her glory. Activities include cooking demonstrations, a visit to a floating fishing village, kayaking and swimming, depending on the boat’s itinerary and weather.
At the end of the day, the boat will anchor while guests enjoy the cocktail happy hour and fresh seafood dinner. Try your hand at squid fishing in the evening or perhaps watch a film or stargaze before retiring to your cabin for a restful sleep.

Day 4: Contemplate the sunrise scenery in Halong Bay and have an evening flight to Hoi An
Good Morning Vietnam from Halong Bay! Start the morning with some tai chi on the sundeck as the sun rises, and munch on a light breakfast before participating in a cave visit.
Brunch will be served after the cave tour, which gives you time to savor the views as the boat gently glides through the incredible rock formations towards the dock.
Disembark from the cruise and return to Hanoi to have some time to explore the iconic Old Quarter surrounding the charming Hoan Kiem Lake at leisure before an evening flight south to the beachside getaway of Da Nang and charming ancient town of Hoi An.

Day 5: Stroll around the ancient town of Hoi An
After breakfast, explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hoi An Ancient Town. Hoi An is a very cute and well-preserved town, known for its importance in Vietnam’s history as a major port city from the 15th to 19th century. Take a walking tour through the ancient town, admiring the diverse architecture styles, ranging from wooden Chinese shops to grand French colonial houses, traditional Vietnamese “tube” houses and the iconic Japanese covered bridge. The city is also famous for its many brightly colored and delicately painted lanterns which hang in droves on many different shop walls and doors.
After lunch at a local restaurant, the afternoon is free for you to explore. Check out the wide variety of tailors available throughout the city, shop for ready-made clothing, shoes, bags, quilts, accessories and souvenirs, or sip tea in charming tea houses.

Day 6: Walk through the colonial Saigon and go shopping in Ben Thanh Market
Spend a leisurely morning soaking up the charming ambiance of Hoi An before transferring to Da Nang Airport for a short late morning flight to the modern, cosmopolitan Ho Chi Minh City.
Take some time in the afternoon to explore colonial Saigon with a walking tour to the photogenic Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly known as Rue Catinat), the Continental House, City Hall, Ben Thanh Market, and of course, the Opera House.

Day 7: Explore the lush and green rice paddies in Mekong River Delta
Settle in for a 2-hour car ride this morning to the small town of Ben Tre where we will board our day-cruise to explore the Mekong River Delta, the rice bowl of Asia. Take photos of Vietnam’s natural riches and resources of lush, bright green rice paddies as well as the vast maze of rivers, mangroves, islands, and swamps.
Sample southern Vietnamese cuisine and voyage down narrow waterways on a sampan, a smaller, traditional rowing boat.
Return to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon.

Day 9: Start your new day with the charming sunrise at Angkor Wat
Meet Cambodia’s epic past with a tour of the Angkor Archaeological Park. One of the most important historical sites in the entire region of Southeast Asia, the City of Temples will surely amaze and astound even the most experienced traveller.
Built between the 9th-15th centuries, each complex was at one point the capital of the Khmer empire. Your tour will begin with sunrise at Angkor Wat, the masterpiece of Angkor Park, often considered one of the best preserved ancient monuments in the world. Carry on by bicycle to Angkor Thom, famous for its carved faces pointing out in either direction on top of massive 75 ft. (23 m) towers. Within is the mysterious Bayon Temple, the Mona Lisa of Southeast Asia, located at the exact center of Angkor Thom, with a total of 216 carved faces.
Stops will also include the Elephant Terrace, the Leper Terrace, before moving on to the popular Ta Prohm, recognizable from the film Tomb Raider.
Return to the magnificent Angkor Wat. In the afternoon sun, it seems as if the entire complex is sparkling. Depart from the park in the early afternoon or stay to see the beautiful sunset and return to your hotel in the early evening.
