Day 1: Welcome to Hong Kong
Welcome to Hong Kong, a global and economic powerhouse as well as a special administrative region of China. Due to its history in South China as well as its colonization by the British, Hong Kong retains a unique and quirky identity all its own. Upon arrival to Hong Kong Airport, our representative will transfer you to your boutique hotel for refreshment.
Your afternoon visit of the city takes you for a ride on the iconic Star Ferry, across Victoria Harbor to Kowloon to see Wong Tai Sin Temple, home to three leading Chinese religions, Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism.
Afterwards, wander along Temple Street, and perhaps hear predictions about your future from the many fortune tellers in the area. Traditional pawn shops hidden away in old buildings can still be found amongst the skyscrapers and shopping centers in Sham Shui Po before discovering the delicious street food and night markets in Mong Kok.

Today we leave Nusa Dua to explore some of Bali’s southernmost communities, Jimbaran and Uluwatu.
Our first stop will be at Garuda Wisnu Kencana, a cultural park known for its humongous sculpture of Vishnu riding on the back of a Garuda, both important elements in Balinese culture, legend and religion. There are many cultural shows put on throughout the day as well as gardens, panoramic vistas, and a sacred spring with healing waters to visit.
Next, stop for a mouth-watering fresh seafood lunch with your toes in the sand on the famous Jimbaran Beach. Here you can see fisherman hauling in their catch to the seafood market located directly on the beach or even visit the open-air shopping village.
Finally, the tour will stop at Uluwatu Temple, an incredibly important temple as it is believed to be built at one of Bali’s most spiritual positions. The temple offers dramatic views as it is located at the top of a steep cliff around 70 m above sea level. It takes about an hour to walk up the pathway through a small forest guarded by hundreds of monkeys who are said to keep the evil spirits out. At sunset, a Kecak dance, known to guests as the fire dance, is performed.
